Arte pegado a la piel. Estereotipos y prejuicios en torno al tatuaje como constructo social

Abstract

En este texto se pretende explicar y tratar de argumentar hacia la sociedad que el tatuaje y portador de el, no es manera de rechazo ante ellos, el tatuaje refleja una manera de estar en el mundo, tener una identidad propia, definirlos a ellos y su historia; se busca una reflexión para la sociedad, que dicho arte o moda que se practica en estos tiempos, no es resultado de discriminación ni prejuicios, explicando la historia del tatuaje y como fue evolucionando a partir de los años, analizando el uso que le daban, no solo para castigos y criminales, si no como una medicina, un estatus social, una tradición religiosa, poder, etc., así también apreciando la evolución de los instrumentos. En este documento se vera la historia y las motivaciones del tatuaje, el uso de la maquina, la creación de un libro de artista, hecho de mi autoría, reflejando la documentación escrita por medio de ilustraciones, con ayuda de los referentes artísticos tomando técnicas, paletas de colores y anexando fotografías de personas como modelo. This text aims to explain and try to argue towards society that the tattoo and the bearer of it is not a way of rejecting them, the tattoo reflects a way of being in the world, having its own identity, defining them and their history; A reflection is sought for society, that said art or fashion that is practiced in these times is not the result of discrimination or prejudice, explaining the history of the tattoo and how it evolved over the years, analyzing the use they gave it, not only for punishments and criminals, but as a medicine, a social status, a religious tradition, power, etc., as well as appreciating the evolution of the instruments. In this document you will see the history and motivations of tattooing, the use of the machine, the creation of an artist's book, made by me, reflecting the written documentation through illustrations, with the help of artistic references, taking techniques , color palettes and attaching photographs of people as models.
