Estudio de la Factibilidad para desarrollar un sendero híbrido en el corredor turístico Zona Arqueológica Palenque, Chiapas

Abstract

Un modelo alternativo está vinculado al nivel local para comprender de mejor manera las problemáticas del territorio y su relación con los actores sociales. El senderismo ha sufrido una evolución, dejando de ser una actividad exclusivamente deportiva y adquiriendo connotaciones culturales, ambientales, educativas y turísticas sin exigir grandes inversiones. Representa una forma diferente de hacer turismo, como un ‘turismo lento’, que es muy propicio a dinamizar la economía. En este sentido un sendero abre la posibilidad de ser parte de la diversificación de actividades en Palenque, Chiapas, permitiendo beneficios económicos. Así, el objetivo de este trabajo es determinar la factibilidad de un sendero en la región a través de la metodología cuantitativa descriptiva. Este diseño metodológico implico elementos de comprensión, descripción y análisis de los datos estadísticos para conocer la opinión de los turistas respecto a la actividad e identificar la factibilidad a partir del número de los posibles usuarios que estuvieron dispuestos a optar por esta alternativa que incentive el desarrollo local. An alternative model is linked to the local level to better understand the problems of the territory and its relationship with social actors. Hiking has undergone an evolution, ceasing to be an exclusively sporting activity and acquiring cultural, environmental, educational and tourist connotations without requiring large investments. It represents a different way of doing tourism, such as a 'slow tourism', which is very conducive to boosting the economy. In this sense, a trail opens the possibility of being part of the diversification of activities in Palenque, Chiapas, allowing economic benefits. Thus, the objective of this work is to determine the feasibility of a trail in the region through the descriptive quantitative methodology. This methodological design involved elements of understanding, description and analysis of statistical data to know the opinion of tourists regarding the activity and identify the feasibility from the number of possible users who were willing to opt for this alternative that encourages local development.
